Open call for works – 10th Arte Laguna Prize – deadline 18 November 2015

Arte Laguna Prize opens a new entry period featuring 16 international partnerships: among them are some notable companies such as Swatch, Thetis SpA, Riva 1920 and a number of renowned Art Foundations like Berengo and Foundry Battaglia.

Arte Laguna Prize is an international art competition with roots in Venice, with the opportunity to win a wide range of different prizes and career opportunities, to exhibit at the Arsenale of Venice and to join an international network of artistic Institutions and creative people.

There is no thematic guidelines or any other restriction, and its goal is to collect the multiple expressions of contemporary art in the fields of: Painting, Photography, Sculpture and Installation, Video Art, Performance, Digital Art, Land Art.

An international jury, composed of high level experts of contemporary art, will select:
– 6 cash prizes of € 7.000 each competition category
– 4 exhibitions at international Art Galleries in Istanbul, Regensburg, Porto, Saint Petersburg
– 2 collaborations with Made in Italy Companies
– 7 Art Residencies in Shanghai, Taipei, Murano Venice, Barcelona, Kolkata, Venice, Milan
– 3 International Festivals
– the publication of the catalogue

FINALISTS EXHIBITION: ARSENALE OF VENICE, March 2016

The prestigious venue in the lagoon city will host the exhibition of 30 works of painting, 30 sculptures and installations, 30 works of photographic art, 10 videos, 10 land art projects, 5 performances which will be performed live during the exhibition’s opening ceremony. The 5 finalists of the virtual and digital art section will be on view at the Future Centre, the Venice home of Telecom Italia, an incubator for developing new business opportunities for telecommunications and new technologies.
