Prism Pipe seeks GIF and Video submissions on the theme of “Occult/Esoteric/Witchcraft/Alchemy” for a live score at pehrspace in Los Angeles on July 20th.
Artists are asked to submit original compositions under 1min in length for consideration. GIF and Video will be accepted, with GIFs being looped for display. Ratio of 640×480 (or equivalent) is preferred, and other dimensions will be formatted to fit the screen.
The submissions will be played without sound, to be live-scored by Ki Oni.
Sarah Zucker and Brian Griffith of The Current Sea will make selections to be projected alongside live musical performances by musicians TBA. The prompt is open for interpretation, but compositions that feature every color of the rainbow will be favored.
