‘Making Music with Computers’

Computers have opened up many new possibilities in the composition and performance of music. This lecture/recital gives insights into some of the most significant developments, with musical examples. The evening concludes with a performance of Andrew Hugill’s ‘Pianolith’ for piano and digital sound, given by Karis Stretton (piano).
