The Lumen Prize is delighted to be returning to London’s Winns Gallery in Lloyds Park with its exciting, interactive show: Adventures in Digital Art. This family-friendly exploration of Lumen Prize art from all over the world is part of Waltham Forest’s Digital Month and will run from November 16 – 21.

Come along between 10am to 5pm daily and move planets with Fabio Dartizio’s A Desire to Stay in the Sun or see your touch translated into blazes of colour by Rhythm, a haptic interactive installation. Other works include Nathan Selikoff’s interactive clock, Audiograph, Will Hurt’s Abstract Playground API, an arcade game with a difference, Blortasia, a VR fantasy land created by Kevin Mack plus the projected playgrounds of FLORA by Philipp Artus and Multiples by Genetic Moo.

Open to all ages, the show actively encourages the audience to become part of the creative process.

Opening Event: 6-8pm, 15 November. This event is free but please register here as places are limited.

Creative Coding Workshops – November 18, 2017

Award-winning artists Genetic Moo are partnering with Lumen once again to offer their popular creative coding workshops on November 18th. Inspired by the art of William Morris, each one hour workshop will immerse children directly into digital art and show them how to create a code-driven animation. As they learn, they will see their efforts come alive, climb up walls and become part of Genetic Moo’s own artwork displayed in the gallery.

Suitable for children aged 8 – 14. Free of charge.

Only 10 participants per workshop so please book early to avoid disappointment.

All equipment will be provided or you can bring your own laptop to use.
