CEPA Visiting Practitioner Talks – Helena Goldwater
Wednesday 12th December, 6pm-7.30pm, Studio 2, PACE (Performing Arts Centre of Excellence), De Montfort University, Leicester. Goldwater will talk about her practice discussing her performance art works, her years treading the club and cabaret boards and her paintings. From a Fine Art background, she continues to be interested in the intersection between disciplines and forms, and in shifting the boundaries. She has worked across different performance disciplines as maker, performer, co-deviser and writer and has shown work in galleries, theatres and for site-specific contexts. The talks are open to all and are free. However, we have limited seating which will be offered on a first come first served basis. It is advised that you arrive by 5.30pm to try to avoid disappointment.
Directions to the PACE building and more information about CEPA in general are available on the DMU website: www.dmu.ac.uk/aboutdmu/campuses/maps/leic_campus.jsp
