Eight Artists sought for week long project exploring community generated live data and its creative visualisation.

Knowle West Media Centre in Bristol wants to invite eight artists working across a wide variety of disciplines to take part in an innovative week-long exploration of the live data a community generates, how it can be creatively visualised, and how the community can take ownership of the information produced.

KWMC will provide all the data and the technical expertise in how to manipulate it – all you have to do as an artist is to find a creative way to interpret it for the benefit of the local community.

A fee of £500 and all living expenses will be paid. Four of the participants will then be selected for 4 x £4000 residencies at Knowle West Media Centre during 2011.
