Alpha-ville launches EXCHANGE, a one-day conference designed to give the London art, tech and creative communities the opportunity to connect, exchange ideas, get inspired and discover new talent.

On January 17th, a jam-packed event will bring together the community of people working at the crossroads of art, technology, design and digital culture to meet and share ideas and inspiration.

EXCHANGE features a Day Programme packed with presentations, talks and social events alongside a music programme in the evening for attendees to network and enjoy. The Conference programme brings together a set of internationally renowned artists, creatives and designers including Davide Quayola, Hellicar and Lewis, Field, Onformative, Eno Henze and many more. Work will be presented across: motion graphics, graphic design, illustration, interaction design, generative design, digital and software art, mixed media art, data visualisation and more.

ENO HENZE (DE)
Berlin-based artist & scenographer Eno Henze is part of a new generation of artists who find an outlet on multiple platforms. As well as curating NODE, Henze dedicates most of his time creating drawings and art installations. He is currently working on an ambitious production for the Dutch National Ballet and the Royal Opera House.

FIELD (UK/DE)
Field is a creative studio for digital art and design based in London. Field creates expressive and dynamic artworks for digital platforms, galleries, festivals and public installations in the UK, Europe, US and Asia. The studio is led by co-founders Marcus Wendt and Vera-Maria Glahn.

HELLICAR & LEWIS (UK)
Hellicar & Lewis is the partnership between Pete Hellicar and Joel Gethin Lewis. Their work uses art, technology and design to create groundbreaking experiences that take people into the moment to impart lasting memories. Their projects bring together traditional media, interaction and digital networks to make feedback loops between people, technology and places. In addition to their commercial work, Hellicar & Lewis also enjoy working in educational, artistic and performance contexts.

Established in 2001 by designers Antti Hinkula and Teemu Suviala, this a creative agency is transforming brands and institutions with bold ideas and progressive concepts. Focusing on strategy, identity and design, they challenge norms by creating authentic and innovative strategies and crafting imaginative solutions from print and digital to products and environments. Kokoro & Moi’s work is focussed on change, collaboration and play – on new ways to use power of design to create value, purposefulness and better culture, economy, environment and society.

ONFORMATIVE (DE)
Onformative is a design studio founded by Julia Laub and Cedric Kiefer in 2010. The studio specialises in generative design covering various types of media and topics. At the intersection of technology, design and emotion, Onformative develop innovative, cross-media solutions for their customers in the domains of culture, education and technology.

QUAYOLA (UK/IT)
Quayola is a visual artist based in London. He investigates dialogues and the unpredictable collisions, tensions and equilibriums between the real and artificial, the figurative and abstract, the old and new. His work explores photography, geometry, time-based digital sculptures and immersive audiovisual installations and performances.

SHANTELL MARTIN (US)
Acclaimed visual artist Shantell Martin is expanding conventional definitions of drawing and animation to transform visual experience in the design, fashion, and music industries. Shantell has been making her mark on the art world, gaining a following for her distinctive approach to drawing.

SOUGWEN CHUNG (US/CA)
Sougwen is a Canadian-born, Chinese-raised, and Brooklyn-based artist. She has a BFA in graphic design and a diploma in Interactive Art from Hyper Island in Sweden. Her interdisciplinary process spans drawing, video, animation, 3d, sound and installation, creating connections between traditional art and the immersive possibilities of new technologies. An internationally exhibited artist, her work has been shown at The Art Directors Club in New York, NY, and the Museum of Contemporary Art in Geneva, Switzerland,
amongst others.

STEFANIE POSAVEC (US/UK)
Originally from the US, Stefanie moved to London for an MA in Communication Design (CSM) in 2004. With a background in book design and text visualisation, she works as an information and data artist, with work ranging from data visualisation and information design to commissioned data art for a variety of clients. Her personal work focuses on the visual representation of language, literature, or numbers and has been exhibited internationally, including at the Museum of Modern Art, New York and the V&A, London.
