Van Alen Institute New York Prize Fellowship – deadline 6 March 2009

The New York Prize Fellowship is designed to support the development and production of public projects, accessible to a general audience, and ranging across media, temporalities, and scales in the form of exhibitions, installations, performances, symposia, workshops, and many other formats. Research applicants must involve some form of public program. The Fellowship offers $2,500 to $10,000 for the implementation of the project including a stipend towards living and housing expenses in New York City ($1500 to New York City residents; $6500 to non-residents), as well as assistance in travel costs and in obtaining a visa.
