The call welcomes all kinds of virtual reality projects by (digital) artists as well as scientists. Web Residents will be awarded a micro-grant and will be visible on the new online-platform www.schloss-post.com for four weeks during the realization of their project.
Schlosspost is a content focused online platform in English, aimed at a global audience of young artists and those interested in the arts. The website was founded in 2015 as part of the program Digital Solitude by the international artist residence Akademie Schloss Solitude and focuses on the communication of the content from the Solitude network in the fields of art and science and the support of new digital projects and talents. Schlosspost is simultaneously an online magazine and artist portfolio and takes a look into the studios of current and former fellows inside and outside of Solitude as well as the archive of the Akademie to uncover hidden works and those still in the making.
