A special PoetryFilm event celebrating the Autumn Equinox with a programme of short films and poems on the themes of Translation, Transcreation and Punctuation. The full programme will be announced shortly. The screening will take place between 7pm and 8pm. This will be followed by a drinks reception in the bar.

PoetryFilm is a living research project initiated by Malgorzata Kitowski in 2002 exploring the semiotics and meaning-making approaches of the PoetryFilm genre.

PoetryFilm celebrates experimental poetryfilms, art films, text films, sound films, silent films, poet-filmmaker collaborations, auteur films, films based on poems, poems based on films, and other experimental text/image/sound screening or performance material. The PoetryFilm project has resulted in over 60 events at cinemas, galleries, literary festivals and academic institutions featuring films, poetry readings, live performances and talks. The PoetryFilm Archive contains hundreds of international text/image/sound materials.
