5th Biennale Lighting Culture
11 – 16 April 2010 – Frankfurt/Germany

Adressed to architects, designers, media designers, artists and universities for the 5th Biennale Lighting Culture in Frankfurt, Luminale (April 11 –16, 2010).

The Luminale in Frankfurt continues the tradition of the over 150-year-old festival of lights “Fête des lumières” in Lyon (December 5 – 8, 2009). Light installations and performances will take place in the city and the entire Rhine-Main region. The Luminale is a presentation platform for architects, designers, urban planners and artists. The organizers are looking for 100 projects in total that demonstrate a wealth of ideas in relation to light.

The festival will take place parallel to the Light + Building trade fair in Frankfurt.
