Storytelling

TodaysART Brussels welcomes proposals for performance, innovative short films, installations and online art works that employ digital text and interactivity as their primary artistic components. This includes works that employ generative, interactive, networked and/or hypermedia techniques.

Projects must be designed for Midi-Canal / Zuid-Kanaal area of Brussels.
Existing projects that can be adapted to this areas are welcomed.

Urban interventions

We are looking for site-specific and site-responsive projects.

This call is for artists of all disciplines who develop and present their work outside normal studio practice; and brings the audience into direct contact with the work, the artists and the making process.

Projects must be designed for or adapted to Midi-Canal / Zuid-Kanaal area of Brussels.

TodaysArt Brussels will cover production costs for selected interventions.

Apps for Brussels

Submissions may be any kind of software application, be it for the web, a personal computer, a mobile handheld device or any software platform broadly available to the public.

Games and playful interventions introducing ideas of competition, speed, and fantasy into city streets may help engage local inhabitants, young people and onlookers in experiences they see as new, surprising or special.

Tracking the movement of people and objects can also record and augment experiences often unrecognised or culturally invisible.

3 selected applications will be awarded 500 euro each.
Deadline: 10th of September.
