11th Japan Media Arts Festival – deadline 5 October 2007

Since its foundation, The Japan Media Arts Festival has been committed to enabling new means of expression, to honoring artists who have produced works displaying outstanding creativity and, to endeavoring to introduce such creative efforts to as wide an audience as possible.

The Competition is open to both professionals as well as amateurs, commercial and non-commercial works without distinction.

*_Awards _*

One Grand Prize, four Excellence Prizes and one Encouragement Prize will be awarded in each division. Based on the recommendations of the jury, a Special Achievement Prize may also be presented to artists who have made significant contributions to the field of media arts.

Certificate (Ministry of Education, Science, Sports and Culture Prize), Trophy, 600,000 yen prize money

[Excellence Prize]
Certificate (Ministry of Education, Science, Sports and Culture Prize), Trophy, 300,000 yen prize money

[Encouragement Prize]
Certificate (Ministry of Education, Science, Sports and Culture Prize), Trophy, 150,000 yen prize money
